    Transit from Moon or Ascendant

A Big Confusion! Transit from Moon or Ascendant

    Transit from Moon or Ascendant

Transit from the Moon or Ascendant has always been a difficult concept to master. This is not only faced by common people, but even by astrologers. Today, we are going to clear up this confusion through this blog.

We generally see that there are a lot of astrologers, astro-lovers, and common people who are confused about transit. Some astrologers’ opinion is that transit should be watched through the moon as we all watch rashifal from the moon. On this, conflict some say transit should be seen by ascendent (Lagna). While some say transit should be watched by Dasha (period) lord positioning in the birth chart. (Assume you have Sun Dasha going on and Sun is settled in your 10th house, as 1st house for transit).

Because of this, the people who are interested in astrology or those who are learning get confused about the moon, ascendant, and Dasha lord. There are various systems for astrological prediction. A separate system has separate views, but ultimately the prediction matters. So, there is a need to recognize the system properly you have to choose which astrological system is better for you.

As per Dhwani's astro knowledge, transit should be watched as per the astrological system that you follow.

Traditional astrology (Parashari- Hindu Astrology system)

In our traditional astrology, we watch transit from the moon, here moon positioning in the chart is taken as Lagna (ascendant) to examine transit. Some astrologers follow double transit also as they watch from the ascendant and moon. Some use connected divisional charts too with ascendant charts, for example D-1 chart (Lagna Chart) and D-10 (Dasama) for profession and D-1 as well as D-9 for marriage and federal matters. Gentle moving planets Saturn and Jupiter and Dasha lords are watched in transit for important events. For monthly transit, the sun and for daily transit the moon and its nakshatra lord need to be watched.

    Krishnamurti paddhati (KP System)

In Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP System), Ascendant is taken for transit examination. Transit of DBA lords in mismatched star nakshatra lord and sub-lord are grabbed in the predictions for timing the events. Transit of gentle planets Saturn and Jupiter for yearly, sun for monthly, and moon for daily transit are also watched.

    Nadi system

In the Nadi system, the house positioning of a particular planet in the birth chart is taken in transit examination. Assume that you have watched the transit of Saturn in the Nadi examination and Saturn placed in eight houses, then we watch the transit from eight houses, eight houses will be considered as the first house. If Jupiter is placed in the second house, then for Jupiter's examination we will take the second house as the first house.

The conclusion is what astrology system you follow, do not try to mix 2 systems. This is also depending on the quality of the astrologer; an experienced astrologer can examine the transit in a better way
